Venturi mask is made based on the Venturi principle,which meansthat when oxygen enters the mask through a narrow hole,it createsa negative pressure around the jet airflow,carrying a certain amountof air from the open edge into the mask.The size of the gap on the maskchanges the ratio of air to oxygen.
Structure and composition
Mask body: lightweight transparent plastic, covering the mouth and nose, with exhaust holes on the side.
Venturi valve (key component):
Valves of different colors correspond to specific oxygen concentrations (such as blue for 24%, white for 28%).
Precise oxygen delivery is achieved by adjusting the mixture ratio of air and oxygen.
Oxygen interface: connect to the oxygen source (flow meter).
Adjustable headband: fixes the mask but allows the patient to talk or cough.
